From Page 26- Topic 4 - Making a claim:

4.12 What is a counter-claim?

When you raise a claim against the respondent, and the respondent has a claim against you, he may file a counter-claim against you. Tribunal Rules do not allow housing developers to file a claim against homebuyers but they can do so, when the homebuyer has raised a claim through Form 1. The respondent can only make a counter-claim against you if it relates to the same matter as your initial claim.

5.06 Preparation for the hearing

Practice your script by telling it to someone who can give good advice, such as your partner or friend, if you are nervous at speaking in public. Ask them for feedback, if the script is too long, cut our unnecessary parts. The Tribunal is an open court, that means there will be other people around listening to the proceedings.
